Needless to say, I declined and ate at the airport. I had to leave by 8:30 am the following day - the inn keeper (or whomever was watching the place for the owner) was running a bit late and offered to make me an egg sandwich for the road. Of all of the B&B's I've stayed at over the years, this was the worst breakfast. It was scrambled eggs (which were nicely flavored), two strips of bacon, some semi-dried out cut fruit, and a stale mini store bought croissant. Beware - DO NOT touch the louvers above the bed to let in light - some are held in place using clear packing tape and the windows/window sills behind them are filthy. Sleeping - the bed needs a new mattress or at the very least, a topper. I unpacked and went outside to enjoy the sun on the patio - most of the outside furniture needed some TLC - some of the wicker chairs had broken pieces that could easily scratch/impale someone. The inn is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk away from Gulfport Beach and 6.3 miles away from Tropicana Field. Petersburg, offers beachfront lodging to its guests. I will say the towels and robe were clean and very soft. Sea Breeze Manor Inn, situated in the heart of St. Entering the bathroom, I found chips on the wall tiles and actual chunks missing from the tub.
I got to my room, which over-all was clean. Hoping for something to snack on and a drink after a 2 hour traffic laden drive, I was able to hunt down 2 mini store-bought donuts, but no drinks in the refrigerator as promised in my note. I arrived to an empty house - my greeting was a typed note with my room key left on a table - the owner apologized for being unable to greet her guests and repeatedly warned how important security was (keeping all doors closed and locked at all times). Lori, you need to get someone in there who has the time to run it until you sell it, guest feel like they are intruding. It a one point was the best place to stay. That was pretty much the last time we saw anyone except the housekeepers, which by the way our very nice, and keep the rooms clean, however the rooms and property need a lot of work, We were very disappointed and would not recommend this B & B to anyone, it is very sad that their website has not been updated so in turn is very misleading.
Next morning went to the tables set up outside, and were asked if we wanted eggs etc.
Came back to our room and found our way around for the lights, and air conditioning.

Upon arrival which was after check in time we were not sure how to get into our room, and thank god the property manager was there dropping off something and helped us in, he did offer us water and ice, that was pretty much it.no one else was around so we found our way down to a local restaurant to have a bite to eat. We have seen the property before so were very excited for our stay.
